Job Title: Associate Business Application Administrator
Contract Length: 12 months
Work Schedule: Hybrid — 3 days/week in office required
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Business Application Administrator to support its newly implemented Jira Service Management application. This role focuses on analyzing and resolving defects and developing workflows — from minor cosmetic changes to complex automation involving approvals and multiple child work items — helping advance the agency's mission of quality, affordable housing across Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and resolve defects within Jira Service Management workflows
2. Develop new, complex workflows including approvals, automation, forms, and multi-item processes
3. Manage code migrations and user access within Jira Service Management
4. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Master, and QA in an Agile development team
5. Deliver demos to end-users, gather feedback, and implement requested modifications
6. Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements
7. Triage incidents to determine urgency vs. backlog prioritization

Required Skills & Certifications:
• College degree, ideally in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• 12+ months experience with Jira Service Management (workflows, forms, automation, approvals, work items, assets)
• Experience with code migration and user access management
• Firm understanding of the Atlassian Jira Service Management product
• Experience working within an Agile development team
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences
• Ability to triage incidents effectively

• Atlassian Confluence for Knowledge Base management
• IT Service Management (ITSM) experience
• ITIL framework knowledge
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts
