Assistant Video Editor Job

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for video storytelling, and proficiency in editing tools to assist in creating engaging and polished video content for digital campaigns, product launches, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Editor in editing short and long-form videos for marketing, social media, and internal use.
Trim footage segments and assemble raw material into polished final content.
Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as needed.
Organize and maintain a structured file management system for footage and projects.
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and vision.
Ensure content consistency across platforms and formats.
Stay updated with industry trends and editing techniques.

Required Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in video editing or a related field (freelance or in-house).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related editing tools.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
Basic knowledge of color grading and sound mixing.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A creative portfolio showcasing your previous work (link or sample required).

Preferred (But Not Required)

Experience with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels content.
Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field.
