Assistant Trader Job

• Wage: 65,000 annually – appx 31.25/40 hours weekly
• Start Date: ASAP

Duties:
1. Develop plans and strategies to achieve work objectives and prioritize tasks accordingly.
1. Follow-up and coordinate the operational logistics of the team and organization.
2. Efficiently follow-through with workplace routines, procedures, and worker schedules.
3. Coordinate activities, plans, and schedules with other teams for organizational cohesion.
4. Draft, prepare, and submit necessary reports.
5. Ensure continuous operation of computers and machines, including maintenance and repairs.
6. Act as supervisor: resolve workplace issues, offer technical advice and mentorship for quality and productivity improvements.
7. Recruit, hire, and train staff or coordinate training opportunities and resources.
8. Oversee workers, while organizing regular performance evaluations.
9. Determine organizational operational logistics and take essential steps to improve company’s products and activities.
10. Control and catalogue available inventory, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Assets and Required Experience
1. At least 1-2 years of experience working in a similar or equivalent position.
2. Secondary School Completion
3. Client focused, task-oriented with great communication skills
4. Positive, outgoing, pro-active, self-starter
5. Flexible, organized, and reliable worker.
6. Must be able to handle light weight-lifting tasks (9kg/20lb)
7. Experience in freight forwarding in an asset.
8. Must have some proven leadership and supervision experience – 1-2 people
