Assistant Restaurant Manager Job

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily restaurant operations
• Support recruitment, training, supervision, and scheduling of staff
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching when necessary
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations
• Assist in maintaining inventory control and ordering supplies
• Help manage budgets, expenses, and cost control measures
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Ensure service quality standards are consistently met
• Assist in implementing operational policies and procedures
• Coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Employment Requirements
• Completion of a college diploma or equivalent experience in hospitality/food service management preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food service industry in recent 5 years
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Food Safe certification is an asset
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
