Assistant Professor of Theology Job

Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN is looking for an Assistant Professor of Theology. A qualified applicant will be conducting Theology and Religious Studies courses, such as Islamic Religion and Culture and Theories and Methods in Theology and Religious Studies; Preparing and delivering lectures to students; Compiling, administering and grading examinations; Posting grades, course syllabi and other materials; Engaging in curriculum revision and development as a member of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies faculty; and serving the University on governmental and academic program committees as elected and assigned. Requirements: Doctorate Degree (PhD) or foreign degree equivalent in Religious Studies (In lieu of Doctorate Degree (PhD) or foreign degree equivalent in religious studies, the employer will accept All But Dissertation (ABD) towards Doctorate Degree in Religious Studies).
