Assistant Professor Job

Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL is looking for Assistant Professors. A qualified applicant will be Conducting university courses for undergraduate and graduate students in Sports Management; teaching the courses within the prescribed curriculum; preparing and delivering lectures to students; compiling, administering and grading examinations; posting grades, course syllabi, and other materials; advising students on academic curricula; serving on faculty committees as assigned by the University; and completing research in the Sports Management field. Requirements: Doctorate Degree (PhD) or foreign degree equivalent in Sports Management or Recreation, Sport and Tourism. Special Requirements: Pre-employment background check and verification of eligibility to work in US required. Benefits include: PTO, retirement, insurance, FSA, tuition waivers & PSFL. Salary: $70,000 to $80,000/year.
