Assistant Professor Job

Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL is looking for an Assistant Professor. A qualified applicant will be Conducting university courses for undergraduate and graduate students in Mechanical Engineering, such as Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics; teaching the courses within the prescribed curriculum; preparing and delivering lectures to students; compiling, administering and grading examinations; posting grades, course syllabi, and other materials; advising students on academic curricula; serving on faculty committees as assigned by the University; and completing research in the Mechanical Engineering area. Requirements: Doctorate Degree (PhD) or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Pre-employ background check and verification of eligibility to work in US required.
