Assistant Prof. of Latin American and Latinx Studies and History Job

Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL is looking for an Assistant Professor of Latin American and Latinx Studies and History. A qualified applicant will be Conducting college courses for undergraduate students in Latin American/Latinx Studies and History, including but not limited to Global Change: The Power of History and Indigenous History of the Americas; Teaching the courses within prescribed curriculum; Preparing and delivering lectures to students; Compiling, administering and grading examinations; Posting grades, course syllabi and other materials; Conducting research and preparing it for submission and publication in academic journals; Attending academic conferences; and serving the College on governance and academic program committees as elected and assigned. Requirements: Doctorate Degree (PhD) or foreign degree equivalent in History. Salary: $65,000 to $75,000/year. Apply to [email protected]
