• Monitor and assess daily sales activities at the business to maximize performance and efficiency.
• Direct cashiers and attendants by delegating specific tasks to ensure seamless operations across the gas station and convenience store.
• Oversee planning and coordination of the range of products and services offered in the store, while helping implement pricing strategies, promotional programs, and customer credit policies in accordance with company guidelines.
• Investigate local market conditions to gauge potential sales and understand the competitive landscape.
• Work with vendors to secure favourable terms for purchasing gasoline, diesel, and convenience store products such as snacks, beverages, groceries, hoodies, hats, automotive supplies, coffee and tea products, slushies, and scoop ice cream etc.
• Develop and execute strategies to boost sales and increase the store's presence within the community.
• Plan budgets, approve expenditures, and monitor revenue to maintain the store's financial stability.
• Evaluate the level of service provided, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may occur.
• Oversee hiring, training, and retention initiatives to cultivate a skilled and dedicated team.
• Authorize payments, verify fuel transactions, and manage returns or exchanges of convenience store merchandise while ensuring compliance with store policies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of gasoline, diesel, and order convenience store merchandise such as snacks, beverages, groceries, hoodies, hats, automotive supplies, coffee and tea products, slushies, and scoop ice cream to ensure the store remains well-stocked and prepared to meet customer demand.
• Ensure the store’s visual and operational standards, including product displays, fuel pump areas, signage, and cleanliness, to create a safe and appealing environment for customers.
• Prepare and maintain reports on fuel sales, convenience store sales volumes, merchandising activities, and personnel matters.
• Supervise cleanliness and sanitation practices across all areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and public health standards.
• Manage inventory levels of materials and supplies; monitor product usage and wastage; and adjust ordering and pricing strategies to maintain profitability.
• Manage payroll administration.
• May perform other duties as required by the business.
