Assistant Controller Job

Qualicum Quality Care Services Inc dba The Gardens at Qualicum, a senior healthcare facility located at 650 Berwick Rd N, Qualicum Beach, BC is looking for 1 full time Assistant Controller; full time permanent at $48.72/hour for 37.5 hours per week; on site; Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements; Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control; Prepare financial statements and reports; Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure; Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing; legislation and regulation; Analyze financial documents and reports; Examine accounting records; Provide financial, business and tax advice; Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits; Variance analysis; Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
