Assistant Clubhouse Operations Job

DUTIES: Provide operational and service support for daily clubhouse activities within the Major League Baseball Team department. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and functional clubhouse including operational needs and maintenance of facilities for players, coaches, and staff. Support day-to-day clubhouse operations by preparing and maintaining locker rooms, common areas, and equipment spaces. Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse floor, including locker upkeep, laundry handling, and trash removal. Assist with locker setup and equipment arrangement to ensure readiness for team activities. Assist with restocking equipment and supplies including tracking and maintaining inventory. Assist clubhouse chef by stocking kitchen supplies and supporting product ordering as needed. Regularly interact with players and staff to address equipment and clubhouse service needs. The position involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, cleaning, running errands, and lifting or rearranging furniture and equipment. Follow all organizational policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures in a fast-paced professional sports setting.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the job offered or supporting or managing daily clubhouse operations in professional and/or international baseball organizations. Must have the ability to communicate fluently in English and in Spanish. Must have experience overseeing clubhouse floor and locker rooms, equipment storage and inventory, laundry services, coordinating kitchen supplies, and addressing player and staff needs. Requires in-depth knowledge of baseball equipment and rules, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as dictated by major league baseball season (March to November). Must be able to lift heavy equipment and stand for 8–10 hours per day.
