Job Description:
• Perform and oversee maintenance activities for automated equipment used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes, including battery cell assembly systems and battery module or pack production lines, within EV battery production facilities to support stable and efficient operations;
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control system issues affecting automated EV battery production equipment;
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to maintain reliability and minimize downtime in high-volume automated production environments;
• Analyze equipment performance, identify recurring failures, and implement corrective actions to improve production stability and equipment utilization;
• Apply technical knowledge of automated systems and battery production equipment to support continuous operation of assembly processes in EV battery manufacturing environments;
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment issues related to battery assembly systems;
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support process improvements, equipment optimization, and yield enhancement initiatives;
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of repair and preventive maintenance work in accordance with production requirements;
• Support root cause analysis activities related to equipment failures and production disruptions and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures;
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations associated with high-voltage EV battery manufacturing equipment and automated production systems;
• Maintain maintenance records, troubleshooting logs, and equipment performance data to support operational monitoring and continuous improvement;
Job Requirements:
• An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or at least three (3) years of hands-on experience in EV battery manufacturing or automated high-volume production equipment maintenance;
• Practical experience in troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes, including battery assembly systems;
• Experience supporting preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and production stabilization in manufacturing environments;
• Familiarity with production systems, equipment control systems, or maintenance procedures used in EV battery production facilities;
• Ability to analyze equipment failures and support root cause analysis activities;
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to support continuous production operations.
