Job Description:
• Lead and oversee maintenance operations for automated equipment used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes, including battery cell assembly systems and battery module or pack production lines, within high-volume electric vehicle (EV) battery production facilities;
• Direct and coordinate maintenance teams responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated battery assembly equipment to ensure continuous production operations and minimize downtime;
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and schedules for critical EV battery assembly equipment, and verify maintenance execution results to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency;
• Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends, and lead root cause analysis activities to identify recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions;
• Provide advanced technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues involving automated battery manufacturing equipment;
• Lead equipment installation, setup, and commissioning activities for battery assembly production lines, including parameter configuration, system validation, and production readiness verification;
• Train, mentor, and guide maintenance technicians by providing structured technical instruction on equipment operation, preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting methods, and safety standards;
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support process optimization, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives within EV battery manufacturing operations;
• Monitor maintenance team performance and ensure maintenance activities are properly executed in alignment with production schedules and operational requirements;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and operational procedures related to high-voltage EV battery manufacturing equipment and industrial systems;
• Maintain maintenance documentation, technical reports, equipment performance data, and training records to support operational tracking and continuous improvement efforts;

Job Requirements:
• An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or at least five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in EV battery manufacturing or automated production equipment maintenance;
• Extensive hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated lithium-ion battery manufacturing equipment, including battery assembly systems;
• Experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities, including assignment of work tasks, preventive maintenance execution, and troubleshooting support in high-volume manufacturing environments;
• Experience supporting equipment installation, setup, commissioning, or production line stabilization in EV battery manufacturing facilities;
• Experience providing technical training and instruction to maintenance technicians or production personnel;
• Strong ability to analyze equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve production stability;
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, communication ability, and capability to support continuous production operations in EV battery manufacturing environments.
