Asbestos Removal Supervisor Job

-Supervise and schedule asbestos abatement and hazardous materials remediation workers.
-Coordinate remediation activities with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
-Resolve work-related issues and improve productivity, quality, and safety.
-Requisition materials, equipment, supplies, and PPE for projects.
-Train workers on asbestos abatement procedures, hazardous materials handling, and safety practices.
-Recommend worker assignments and training requirements.
-Prepare progress reports and maintain project records.
-Ensure compliance with asbestos removal procedures and health and safety regulations.
-Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
-Supervise apprentices, hazardous materials workers, and labourers on remediation projects.

-Completion of secondary school is preferred.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in asbestos abatement and hazardous materials remediation.
-Knowledge of asbestos containment systems, decontamination procedures, hazardous materials handling, and workplace safety practices.
-Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
-Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to various project locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
-Flexible schedule required. Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by project demands and operational needs.
