Area Manager (NOC 60030 - Food Services Manager)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily kitchen and food service operation to ensure efficient workflow, quality service and profitability
• Coordinate the activities of kitchen and food service staff by scheduling duties, monitoring performance and providing training on food preparation, sanitation and safety procedures
• Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluation to maintain efficient operations and compliance with company policies
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
• Enforce health, sanitation and workplace safety regulations to maintain a clean, organized and compliant kitchen environment
• Address customer concerns and resolve service or food-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
• Communicate and maintain network with clients and suppliers
• Participate in promotional activities in collaboration with management to enhance sales and profitability

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and kitchen operations.
• Completion of college program in food service/hospitality management or equivalent experience
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team management and customer interaction
