JOIN OUR TEAM
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist for to join us on a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be performing the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
- Assist in the development of architectural designs for residential building projects
- Prepare computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings, specifications, material quantity take-offs, and related technical documents based on conceptual drawings, sketches, and instructions
- Develop and revise architectural drawings, building layouts, and detailed design documentation using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other computer-assisted design software
- Prepare and maintain 3D architectural models to support design development and visualization
- Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, permit drawings, tender documents, and contract documentation
- Coordinate drawing production and design documentation with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to support design coordination and resolve technical drafting and documentation issues
- Provide technical support and guidance to drafters and junior team members in the preparation of drawings and models
- Assist in maintaining drafting standards, drawing procedures, and project documentation protocols under the guidance of senior staff
- Review and update drawings and project documentation to ensure consistency with design intent, project requirements, and applicable construction standards
- Support the coordination, monitoring, and review of project documentation throughout the design and construction process
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Completion of a 2- to 3-year college program in architectural technology or a related subject is required
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Good command of the English language is mandatory
- Ability to excel working in an extremely fast-paced environment
WHAT WE OFFER
- Full-time, permanent position
- Annual salary is $65,520.00 for 35 hours of work per week
- Occasional overtime may be required for meeting critical deadlines. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate
