Doug Tarry Homes has opening for Architectural technologist (Noc 22210) who will support the team. As a Architectural technologist (Noc 22210), you will perform all or some of the following duties:
• Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Analyze technical documents and reports
• Assist in supervising construction projects
• Write specifications
• Monitor and inspect work
• Assist in design development
• Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Education Qualifications: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Word
Work setting: Urban Area
Area of work experience: Design
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
