Position Description:
We’re seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager for our Firm. This position is responsible for:
Ensuring project requirements are addressed, outstanding items are completed and tasks that remain open are accomplished.
Project phases including field surveying, schematic design, design development, permit/construction documents, field verifications and coordination with municipal officials, owners, and engineers.
The production of drawings for multiple projects.
Working directly with Clients.
Leading teams.
This position takes direction from the Architect of Record.
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in a firm.
2+ years managing teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
Licensure is required for the Project Architect position.
Fluency with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with IRC, IBC and accessibility codes.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
An understanding of ‘how’ a building is put together
A knowledge of the process required to document the building for the design process as well as the Builder.
A great attitude with the patience to teach and empower others.
