We are currently searching for an experienced Architectural draftsperson .
This position is critical to the daily operations of our business. The major responsibilities of this position include:
●Prepare engineering designs and drawings
●Read blueprints to determine work requirements
●Train new drafting personnel
●Develop and prepare design sketches
●Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
●Examine drawings for conformity and errors
●Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements
●Leading/instructing groups
You will be required to train staff.
Type of drafting:
●Free-hand drafting
●Shop drawings
●Detailing drafting
Type of product:
●Cladding for commercial and industrial buildings
Computer and technology knowledge:
•Internet
•Desktop applications
•Presentation software
•Computer-aided design (CAD)
•AutoCAD
•Autodesk REVIT
•MS Office
•Spreadsheet
Area of work experience:
•Fabrication
Specialization or experience:
•D Modeling
Area of specialization:

Transportation/travel information:
•Willing to travel
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
•Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours

Requirements:
•2 years of work experience
•Completion of a two- to three-year college program in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
●Revit Certification
Terms of employment:
Permanent Full time with 40 hours per week
Hours of work:
From Monday to Friday
From 9 am to 6 pm
Salary:
From $ 29.23 to $ 33.00 per hour
