Job Description:
● Work with the design team of architects, designers, contractors and other staff to contact clients and define initial design deliverables and other project milestones based on client’s
preference and in compliance with architectural requirements.
● Study on precedents and projects’ context, and propose design concepts and schematic design solutions based on site analysis, site requirements, relevant projects and project
provision.
● Research Planning and Building Codes and regulations including IBC, ADA and OSHA to ensure project compliance.
● Prepare necessary exhibits and drawings required for design solutions such as site conditions, plans, elevations, sections, perspective and other detailed construction drawings by using
various media, including hand sketches, diagrams, CAD drawings, 3D computer models, renderings and physical models using Autodesk Revit, Rhino, V-ray, Enscape, and Adobe
Creative Suite.
● Use sustainable lighting design and analytical software including Grasshopper plugin for Rhino to model lighting distribution, illuminance level and glare prevention.
● Set up documentation format based on different submittal requirements.
● Coordinate with a team of other professionals such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) consultants, contractors, and suppliers to help establish and maintain the project’s
schedule and budget.
● Coordinate with lighting designer and fabricator to integrate custom light fixtures into architectural design and finishes.
● Perform site visits to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans.
