Job Description:
This position will provide professional architectural design, documentation, and construction project management activities required to support the repair, replacement, and preservation of MnDOT facilities. This position will spend most of the time on architectural design drawings, architectural specifications and project contract documents.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed as a Professional Architect with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design.
AND three years of post-licensure, professional architectural experience that demonstrates the following:
• Experience managing the design and construction of all phases (pre-design, design, procurement, construction, and post¬ occupancy) of commercial or industrial building projects, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Experience with “responsible-in-charge” management and inspection of construction projects. In the application, list your five (5) most recent projects with a construction value of $3M+.
• Experience in applying cost management and budgeting principles and practices for construction project management.
• Experience in the production of design and contract documents, including drawings, technical specifications, and bidding requirements.
• Experience applying Minnesota building codes, ADA, and environmental regulations.
