We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience while working toward their Red Seal Certification under the ITA BC Apprenticeship Program.
Responsibilities
🔹 Assist electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
🔹 Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
🔹 Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools such as drills, saws, voltage testers, and multimeters.
🔹 Ensure work complies with BC safety codes and electrical standards.
🔹 Troubleshoot wiring issues and faulty circuits under supervision.
🔹 Keep work areas clean and organized while adhering to workplace safety protocols.
🔹 Participate in ongoing training and professional development to advance electrical skills.

Qualifications
Enrolled in or willing to register for the ITA BC Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and safety procedures (training will be provided).
Experience using hand tools and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
Physically fit and comfortable working in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors).
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred but not required).
