Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - 2350803 Job

I. Job Summary

Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Performs minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Assists in the repair and adjustment of equipment.
Washes vehicles and equipment.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
Assists senior technicians in the completion of project work.
Assists with service calls for breakdowns.
Performs other maintenance-related work as required.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.

III. Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications

No previous experience required
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

B. Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. Pay: The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $ 20- $24. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
