Job Description:
Location: Paeonian Springs, VA
1. Work in the Support team to investigate issues experienced by customers and themanufacturing department. Develop experiments to identify the causes of hardware andfirmware
issues using the proprietary inertial based guidance and navigation sensor fusionalgorithm data.
2. Develop new specialized tools and automated processes to perform testing, quality
control, and calibration for manufacturing department.
3. Manage experiment tasks related to third-party hardware integration as part ofproduct development program with partnered companies.
4. Manage evaluation task to Alternative Navigation System (Alt-Nav), including but notlimited to Satellite Time and Location (STL), Radio Network Positioning (RNP), andVisual
Odometry (VO) systems.
5. Perform series of evaluation tests and analyses on pre-release versions of productfirmware, software, and hardware.
6. Perform on-site demonstrations at tradeshows and evaluation ground to promoteinterests and demonstrate product capabilities to potential customers and partners.
7. Perform ground and in-flight data collection to support new product development,create marketing materials and data analysis reports.
8. Perform environmental testing to ensure hardware and software compliance with MIL-STD-810G, Military Standard specifications.
9. Perform simulation using MATLAB and NovAtel Waypoint Inertial Explorer engine tocompute Inertial Navigation System (INS) position, orientation, and velocity data inGlobal
Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) aided and simulated denied environments.
10. Create manual and work instructions for specialized machine and systems used inmanufacturing department.

Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the deployment or development of PositionNavigation and Timing (PNT) using Inertial Navigation System (INS), Global PositionalSystem (GPS),
and Satellite Time and Location (STL) in ground and air applications.
2. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++ programming language.
3. Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), andComputational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
4. Proficiency in NovAtel Waypoint Inertial Explorer engine.
5. Knowledge in Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Inertial Measurement Units (IMU),Radio Network Positioning (RNP) system, and navigation algorithms.
6. Knowledge in mathematic modeling, simulation, and data analysis skills.
7. Knowledge in launch vehicle dynamics (air and ground launch system).
8. Knowledge in technical writing, confluence documentation system, system engineeringprocesses and requirements.
9. Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering (with electrical, or mechanical educational experience).
