Are you a skilled problem-solver who enjoys working with your hands and helping people? Maydone Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Appliance Service Technician to join our growing team. As a key representative of our company, you will travel to residential and commercial locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of essential appliances, ensuring our clients' homes and businesses run smoothly.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical service and exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair various appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Travel to customer locations to perform installations, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Clearly explain technical issues to clients, provide accurate cost estimates, and offer advice on proper appliance care and usage.
• Maintain precise records of all service calls, parts used, and work performed using our digital reporting systems.
• Monitor and manage the stock of parts and tools within your service vehicle to ensure readiness for daily tasks.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in appliance repair or a similar mechanical service role
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
• Good command in English language
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and conditions:
• Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 35 weekly work hours
• The remuneration will be set at CAD$36.00 per hour
• Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
• You will be located at 70 Angelina Avenue, Woodbridge, ON L4L 8N9. Various work locations
