1. Major appliance repairers/technician.
2. Small electrical appliance servicers and repairers.
3. Consult customer or refer to work order to establish nature of the appliance malfunction.
4. Prepare estimates and written accounts of work performed.
5. Refer to schematic diagrams or product manuals and disassemble appliance using hand tools.
6. Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances.
7. Replace components and subcomponents and reassemble appliance using hand tools and soldering and brazing equipment.
8. Prepare estimates and written accounts of work performed.
9. May plan service routes.
