App Dev Project Manager Position - Columbus, OH !
Location: Columbus, OH (ONLY Local Candidates to work in Hybrid- 2/3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Rate : $60/hr
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple projects primarily focused on applications development projects (recent exp required).
• Responsible for the oversight and tracking of all financial elements within the project.
• Ensure that scope is maintained, and appropriate change control applied if scope changes.
• Risk and issue management, as well as cross project dependency awareness and management.
o Efficient escalation of risks/issues that have project impacts
• Work closely with Business partners and application owner on the planning and execution of project deliverables and timelines.
• Communication of project status, roadblocks, and risks to appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 7-8 years of IT project planning and management experience.
• Firm understanding of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC)
• Prior experience delivering technology project
• Ability to quickly understand and engage on the project
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Excellent problem-solving skills; Risk and Issue mitigation/resolution
• PMP Certification preferred
