Summary: The Annual Giving Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, coordinating implementing and evaluating employee focused and community facing philanthropic programs. The Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for annual growth and execution of the annual Employees Care fundraising campaign, as well as the execution of specified Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) fundraising programs for Cook Children's Health Foundation. The position requires strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to articulate accurately and persuasively the themes and issues associated with philanthropy in a pediatric medical center and health care system. The individual must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues inside and outside the Foundation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2 years fundraising experience required; 5 years preferred, and preferably minimum of 3 years in a health care setting. Proficient in fundraising software (Raiser's Edge preferred), social media, Microsoft office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Work requires understanding of non-profit fund raising, sales and promotions, direct marketing.
- Commitment to a mission-driven organization, ability to maintain donor confidentiality, and desire to advance the mission and vision of the Cook Children's Health Care System is required.
- This position requires a high level of analytical ability and a multi-tasked manner of thinking are required.
- The successful candidate must be self-motivated and directed, possessing excellent administrative skills, high motivation, and a proven ability to produce results in a highly deadline-oriented environment.
- Other required attributes include reliability, accuracy, and experience in addressing duties, as well as the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines, and to do so with a minimum of supervision or instruction.
- A strong team orientation, toward both internal and external constituencies is required.
- The successful candidate must be independent, accurate, reliable, and a fast worker.
- Ability to learn new software is necessary.
- No certification is required, although professional certification (CFRE, FAHP, etc.) would be desirable.
