Anesthesia Technician Supv Job

The Anesthesia Technician Supervisor oversees anesthesia technician support within Perioperative Services. The Anesthesia Technician Supervisor functions in the supervisory role to maintain quality and regulatory compliance, and inventory control to include maintenance of anesthesia supplies and equipment. Interacts with entities internal and external to ensure availability of appropriate supplies and equipment. Collaborates with Manager and Anesthesia leadership team to evaluate supply and equipment needs. Demonstrates fiscally responsible strategies related to procuring, repair, and supply levels. Facilitates training and orientation for Anesthesia Technicians. Provides clinical support as needed, including but not limited to off-shift, weekend, holiday, and resource coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Anesthesia Technician / Technologist with two years of experience in an acute healthcare setting, and one year of leadership experience with progressive responsibilities.


• P refer: completion of Associates degree program.


• Current BLS certification.


• Continuing education requirements for applicable certification / licensure.
