• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $21.25~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 2946 Tillicum Road, Victoria, BC V9A 2A8
Benefits:
• 4% vacation pay
• Extended Healthcare (after 3 months of employment)
Job Duties:
• Support early childhood educators in implementing activities designed to foster children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth
• Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
• Prepare and serve snacks, and organize rooms or arrange furniture to accommodate lunch and rest times
• Participate in staff meetings to review children's development and address any concerns or challenges
• Support and guide children in developing appropriate eating, dressing, and toileting skills
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
Job requirements:
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in childcare is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, E.C.E.A. Certificate
• Language: English
