Responsibilities and Tasks
Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of dispatchers and operations staff engaged in flight coordination and scheduling
Plan, assign, and direct operational tasks to ensure efficient and continuous flight operations
Oversee daily flight operations, including crew scheduling, dispatch activities, and operational logistics
Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations and internal policies and procedures
Resolve operational issues, delays, and scheduling conflicts, and implement corrective measures
Train staff in operational procedures, safety requirements, and company standards
Monitor operational workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Ensure proper functioning of dispatch systems, communication tools, and operational equipment, and coordinate maintenance when required
Maintain communication with flight crew, ground staff, clients, and relevant stakeholders
Ensure adequate operational coverage and resource allocation to support ongoing flight operations
Provide input into staff performance, training needs, and operational improvements

Job Requirements:
Industry and Operational Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation operations, flight dispatch, or transportation logistics
Experience in a time-sensitive, scheduling or dispatch environment
Experience supervising or coordinating staff in an operational setting is considered an asset
Education
Completion of a post-secondary program of two to three years in aviation, transportation logistics, supply chain, or a related field is considered an asset.

On-site position with availability for operational support as required
