Advanced Systems Administrator Job

Kforce in Tampa, FL is looking for Advanced Systems Administrators. A qualified applicant will be Configuration, maintenance, administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, OEL, and SUSE) using Python, Ansible, Bash, IaC, CI/CD, RHEL, Ubuntu, OEL, RedHat and Docker; Shell scripting (Bash, Python) for automation tasks and system management; User and permissions coordination, file system maintenance, package management, Linux patching, Security Hardening, and Security Vulnerability; Developing automation scripts and workflows using scripting languages (Python, Bash); Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet; Automating repetitive tasks, configuration coordination, and deployment processes; Building and deploying Docker containers for applications; Creating Docker images, coordinating Docker registries, and optimizing container performance; Implementing container orchestration with Docker Compose and Docker Swarm; Deploying, scaling, and coordinating containerized applications with Kubernetes; Implementing Kubernetes best practices for reliability, scalability, and security; Setting up and configuring Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; Creating and coordinating Jenkins jobs for building, testing, and deploying applications; Integrating Jenkins with version control systems (Git) and other tools (Docker, Kubernetes); Configuring and optimizing virtualized environments for performance and resource utilization; Implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions with VMware technologies; Provisioning cloud resources in Azure and AWS environments (compute, storage, networking); Deploying and overseeing virtual machines, containers, and serverless applications in the cloud; and Implementing cloud security best practices, monitoring, and cost optimization strategies. Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one years’ experience in position or IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and five years experience in position or IT field); and experience with configuration and administration of Linux-based systems, Python, IaC, CI/CD, RHEL, Ubuntu, OEL, RedHat and Docker. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required. Salary: $76.00 to $90.00/hour.
