Advanced Care Technician (ACT) (Paramedic License Required) Job

The Advanced Care Technician will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families as supervised and delegated by the RN/LVN/ RRT/CRTT. The Advanced Care Technician will deliver care with a team-orientation and with an emphasis on good customer relations and sound clinical judgment.

Short Stay is a recently expanded 30 bed unit which focuses on the rapid throughput of admissions accepted from the Emergency Department. The unique interdisciplinary approach of having a provider present on the unit 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week allows for continuous collaboration to maintain quality patient care. This position requires strong prioritization skills and adaptability in a fast paced work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years experience as a paramedic
• Current BLS.
• Current certification as EMT-P.
• Current PALS certification
