Since 1990, we have helped thousands ofBritish Columbians save on auto, life, health, travel and business Insurancecoverage. We are currently looking for an Administrative Officer to join ourteam. The ideal candidate will process strong organizational skills and theability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Job position: Administrative officer
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: $36.60 - $37.60 per hour (Depending on working experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Work Location: 5750 Tyne Street, Vancouver, B.C. Canada, V5R 4L6
Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Coordinate and manage daily office procedures to ensure smoothoperations and compliance with established policies;
• Analyze existing procedures, identify areas for improvement, andimplement new administrative processes;
• Set work priorities and supervise, delegate tasks to office staff, andmonitor progress to ensure that all assigned responsibilities are completedaccurately and on time;
• Plan and coordinate office services, including insurance brokers, officeequipment and sup-plies, insurance application forms, maintenance andsecurity services;
• Support budgeting and financial planning by monitoring expenses,maintaining accurate financial records, and implementing cost-controlmeasures;
• Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring allcompany records are kept up-to-date and secure;
• Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring effective communicationand problem resolution to support office efficiency.

Job Requirements:
• A university degree or college diploma in business or public administrationis preferred;
• At least 1 year of experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarialposition related to office administration is usually required;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail;
• Excellent communication abilities and the capability to coordinate teamactivities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring optimaloffice operations.
