• Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: #509-4538 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4T9
Benefits:
• 4 % vacation pay
• Transportation stipend
Job Duties:
• Cast gold and metal alloys to produce bridges and denture bases
• Fabricate temporary crowns and restorations for patient use
• Mould plaster models and study casts for diagnostic reference
• Rebuild and finish metal denture frameworks to specification
• Shape wax bite-blocks and impression trays ahead of casting
• Form orthodontic bands using metal and alloy materials
• Record preliminary impressions to support diagnostic casts
• Track inventory and order laboratory and dental supplies as needed
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 3-5 years of dental laboratory experience is required
