Description:

Responsibilities:

• Plans and implements multiple and mediume to complex projects/programs spanning across business areas where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.

• Ensures strategic direction of projects/programs is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Blue Shield of California and business unit goals and objectives; acts as the business unit liaison to corporate initiatives and projects.

• Assists assigned ACO Medical Director and Clinical Consultants in data extraction, reporting and analysis.

• Ability to consult with all levels including senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision-making.

• Develops, improves, and maintains business processes that support the work of the ACO Medical Director and Clinical Consultants in order to achieve BSC/ACO program business objectives including necessary reductions in total cost of care, improvements in affordability and quality.

• Broad knowledge of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.

• Proven ability to determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion.

Ability to operate at a strategic business level and fully incorporate business strategies within all projects/programs.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 5-8 years program management experience in the healthcare field Previous project management experience in multi-disciplinary setting required Ability to analyze complex data and run reports Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams Technically proficient having broad background in problem/process solving tools. TQM, Six Sigma, certification or Project Management certification preferred.

Travel Requirements: May be requested to travel to ACO provider partner locations in Northern and Southern California.
