The ideal candidates will have strong accounting knowledge, accuracy in financial record-keeping, and proficiency with both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Wages: $36.60 per hour, 40 hours per week;
Overtime wage: $54.90 per hour after 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay

Eligibility:
• Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience
• Language: English

Job Duties:
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
• Post journal entries accurately and timely
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns and trial balances of books
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
