Job description:
K2 Corrosion Fasteners LP is hiring one full time Accounting Technician to join their team.
Job duties:
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintain general ledgers, and prepare trial balance of books.
• Prepare payroll by calculating earnings, deductions, and taxes, and issue cheques or process direct deposits.
• Calculate and prepare payments for utilities, taxes, and other company expenses.
• Complete and submit government forms such as GST/HST returns, payroll remittances, workers’ compensation, and pension contribution reports.
• Prepare personal and business income tax returns and provide other related bookkeeping services.
• Prepare financial statements and generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required by management or external accountants.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of high school is required.
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field

1-2 years of related experience is required
