Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking an Accounting System Analyst – Accounting System Project for our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.
As an Accounting System Analyst, you will assist with providing dedicated support to the Accounting department during the implementation of the new ERP system through data consolidation and preparation, system testing and data validation, and providing operational backfill and support.
What you can expect:
• Support the accounting system implementation by collecting, organizing, and preparing essential financial data—including vendor records, customer profiles, and general ledger accounts and balances—to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
• Participate in accounting system testing activities, including data mapping, review, and validation of converted data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business and accounting requirements.
• Provide flexible support to Corporate Accounting team members by assisting with accounting related business unit tasks, enabling the team to focus on accounting system project related responsibilities without compromising deadlines or deliverables.
• Provide training and support to finance team members on Oracle and related tools.
• Assist with drafting revised procedures and policies.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accounting and/or financial systems required; Experience in the asset management or financial services industry preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Financials and related modules preferred.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards required.
