Eternity Transport Ltd. is a well-established company dedicated to providing exceptional transportation services. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented full-time permanent Accounting Supervisor (Noc: 12011) to join our team.
Position: Accounting Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Wages: CAD $36.65 per hour (30-40 hours per week)
Overtime: 1.5 times the base salary after 40 hours per week
Vacation: 4% of gross salary
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist staff members in preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
•Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
•Identify potential cash flow issues and financial discrepancies.
•Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets are maintained.
•Prepare tax returns accurately and ensure timely tax payment.
•Supervise and guide accounting clerks, bookkeepers and junior accounting staff.
•Provide regular financial updates to management.
•Resolve work-related issues efficiently.
•Organize necessary training for workers as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
•Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
•Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
