Accounting Specialist Job

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and periodic financial reports;
- Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of financial reporting data required by the Korean parent company, including assistance with reporting format alignment and account mapping between the U.S. subsidiary and the parent company;
- Reviewing accounting records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards;
- Analyzing financial data, revenue trends, and manufacturing expenditures to assess financial performance;
- Evaluating financial results and recommending improvements to cost control and profitability;
• Budget Planning and Cost Management:
- Preparing budgets, cost projections, expenditure plans, and fiscal allocations for manufacturing operations;
- Analyzing material, labor, production overhead, and operating costs to identify savings opportunities;
- Monitoring expenditures, investigating budget variances, and preparing cost control reports;
- Evaluating budget requirements and recommending resource allocations for manufacturing operations;
• Enterprise Resource Planning and Accounting Records Management:
- Using the Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) system to manage journal entries and financial transactions;
- Maintaining billing, expenditure, cash receipt, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records;
- Reviewing purchasing, production, and sales data for accurate accounting entries;
- Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies within the ERP system;
• Cash Flow, Banking, and Payment Management:
- Monitoring cash positions, bank balances, and cash flow for manufacturing operations;
- Reviewing payment requests and coordinating supplier payments and bank transfers;
- Reconciling bank accounts and verifying cash receipts and disbursements;
- Preparing cash flow reports and projecting operational cash requirements;
• Financial Planning and Management Advisory Support:
- Forecasting future revenues and expenses based on historical financial data and anticipated manufacturing activities;
- Advising management on resource utilization, cost projections, and budget assumptions;
- Assessing the financial impact of production and purchasing decisions to improve operational efficiency;
• Payroll, Insurance, and Tax Compliance Coordination:
- Reviewing payroll records and employee compensation expenses for accurate accounting;
- Maintaining insurance expense records and reviewing related payments;
- Providing financial records to external tax professionals for federal and state tax returns;
- Reviewing tax-related accounting records and maintaining supporting documentation;
• Monthly Closing and Financial Documentation:
- Assisting with monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations; and
- Preparing financial schedules and accounting documents for management and external accountants.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field of study
• Experience in accounting or financial operations within the manufacturing industry, preferably automotive parts manufacturing;
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and accounting principles;
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial records management; and
• Strong analytical, financial forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting coordination between a U.S. subsidiary and its foreign parent company
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and financial reporting requirements for consolidated financial statements.
