Accounting Specialist Job

An Accounting Specialist is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Monitor and document overall financial transactions and accounting activities for business operations in manufacturing of automotive parts, such as front axle assemblies, rear axle assemblies, rear carrier assemblies, half-shaft assemblies, and cross-groove joints.
• Prepare and organize the company’s accounting reports, financial statements, business operation and manufacturing cost reports to analyze accuracy, completeness, and conformance to accounting reporting standards.
• Maintain accounting databases of statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports to identify financial issues or cost discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, analyze ledgers, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and forecast revenue and expenses.
• Prepare monthly compensation reports by evaluating compiling earning information, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages of the employees.
• Inspect and implement the upgraded accounting systems with the proper accounting procedures for the better efficient financial transactions and accounting activities of the company.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, consulting external financial institutions, and advising management on needed actions.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
