Accounting Manager Job

Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking an Accounting Manager for a long term contract position. Work will be primarily remote with on site in downtown Phoenix, AZ once a month. Pay is $40 - $45/hr.

Candidate will be reviewing ACHs, reconciling funds to cash flow worksheets, reviewing and approving junior accountant transactions and reconciliations. Will also be responsible for payroll reconciliation, budget preparation, management of travel claims, management of the chart of accounts, and will assist with audits.

Candidate must have management experience, expense reporting experience, and federal financial reporting (FFRs) experience. Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Preferred candidate will have experience with grant and federal funding and prior experience with accounting for a State of Arizona or AZ local government agency.

Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis for any U.S. employer without sponsorship (no 3rd parties or corp to corp), currently reside in the Phoenix Metro area, be able to work onsite as needed, be able to start with 2 weeks’ notice, and be able to pass relevant background check.
