About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing real
estate and property management team. This role will manage accounting functions across
multiple entities, primarily in QuickBooks Online, with exposure to property management
operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate accounting, tax filings,
and property tax management. Familiarity with Yardi Breeze is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage accounting for multiple entities (LLCs, partnerships, and real estate
ventures) in QuickBooks Online.
• Handle full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly/quarterly closings.
• Oversee property management accounting: rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, lease
tracking, and escrow accounts.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management and
investors.
• Assist with tax-related work, including property tax filings, sales tax, and
coordination with CPAs for federal and state returns.
• Maintain records for real estate developments, acquisitions, and syndications.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and compliance reporting.
• Assist with system integration and reporting in Yardi Breeze (preferred but not
required).

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track is a plus).
• 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or property management.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, especially with multi-entity
setup/management.
• Experience with Yardi Breeze or similar property management systems is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of real estate tax rules, property taxes, and depreciation.
• Ability to manage multiple entities, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong communication skills.
