Job Description:
An automotive components manufacturer, headquartered in South Korea and importing the majority of its parts from there, is seeking an accountant with the following job duties:
1. Analyze the company’s financial information, aligning with both U.S. GAAP and Korean accounting standards, to support strategic business planning and provide actionable insights for management.
2. Prepare accurate financial reports, including quarterly balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations and consistency with Korean accounting practices.
3. Collaborate with external CPA firms to prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to U.S. tax laws, and assist in evaluating the company’s financial position, including assets, liabilities, and capital.
4. Record and maintain accurate entries in the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and compliance with both U.S. and Korean accounting standards.
5. Conduct cost analyses and recommend improvements to the company’s financial and management systems, and regularly communicate with the Korean headquarters to provide updates and align with global business objectives.
6. Prepare financial reports for the Korean parents company in Korean language following Korean accounting standards; and etc.

Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field AND Korean language fluency.
