Tasks:
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
Prepare financial statements and reports
Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
Analyze financial documents and reports
Variance analysis
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Assist in budget preparation
Verify and balance transactions
Post journal entries
Recommend measures to improve work methods
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Charterered Professional Accountant (CPA)
Computer and technology knowledge: Microsoft Dynamics NAV, MS Great Plains (GP), Accounting software, Quick Books, JD Edwards, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook
