KK Auto Parts LLC seeks an Accountant in Livonia, MI

• Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory count.
• Analyze discrepancies and recommend corrections, ensuring accuracy.
• Establish and maintain depreciation schedules for all company fixed assets.
• Calculate monthly depreciation expenses and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and create reports to be presented to management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company adheres to the necessary financial regulations.
• Assist in documenting and updating business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Develop financial and accounting reports to facilitate data-driven business decision-making.

Must have at least 1 year’ experience in

• Account reconciliation
• General ledger management
• Month-end & year-end closing
• Accounts payable / receivable
• Inventory accounting
• Fixed asset accounting
• Depreciation schedules & expense posting
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
• Internal controls & compliance
• Business process documentation
