Job Description:
Job Duties

As our Account Manager, you will liaise between our clients and cross-functional internal teams at Atlantic Shield to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the clients’ needs. Your goal is to initiate and maintain a favorable relationship with our clients, and is to help our clients to achieve their personal financial goals by establishing bespoke financial plans them and guide them through the implement of proposed strategies. You will bring our excellent services to our clients.

Your main duties include:
• Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns an needs
• Build and strengthen a trusted client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
• Working closely with our Financial Advisors to develop personal financial plans to satisfy client needs covering cash management, insurance coverage, investments, retirement planning and taxes matters
• Stay on top of all managed accounts, ensure the timely delivery of our advises to clients on implementing the proposed financial plans to help them achieve their goals
• Assist clients arranging meetings with Advisors; facilitate purchase and sale of financial products and investments through relationship-based approach
• Promote Atlantic Shield’s high standard service within the marketplace

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience

• Post-secondary degree is required, preferably with a major in finance/Accounting, or 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role in the financial services industry
• Experiences in handling sensitive personal information in financial services industry is a very strong asset

Other Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to learn and understand the company’s insurance and other investment products
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with great attention to details to achieve deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Enthusiastic team player with exceptional client service skills
• Flexible with problem-solving skills
• Bilingualism is an asset
