Duties:
• Responsible for new insurance sales production, including generating a strong prospect pipeline, and servicing & retaining clients
• Establish, build, and maintain client relationships with ability to identify their needs and mitigate risks
• Ensure appropriate forms and other policy requirements are completed
• Accountable to track personal progress against company sales plans for new business & cross-sell
• Provide a strategic overview of the growth initiatives for your book in collaboration with SVP and BD
• Communicate with all key stakeholders to ensure they remain fully informed of all significant sales issues
• Establish client insurance coverage and method of payment
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries and providing information regarding insurance packages, insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claims and billing support
• Support, mentor, and engage with the commercial account team assigned to assist in your book of business
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
• Represent Paisley Partners professionally in the marketplace and build your personal network
• Continuously improve your technical and market
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• 1 – 2 years of commercial insurance experience is required
• R.I.B.O. License and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation is required
• Client development/relationship management experience in Commercial Lines is required
• Strong sales background with demonstrated ability to outperform targets
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
