Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Collections/Receivable Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, following up with clients on past-due invoices, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with customers while effectively handling collections.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to collect outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and account statuses.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
• Generate and send invoices, statements, and reminders to clients.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in receivables.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a firm but professional approach to collections.
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities, account status, and outstanding balances.
• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance guidelines regarding collections.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial role.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying organized and self-motivated.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Knowledge of collection laws and best practices is a plus.
